Ateneo Students win Entrepreneur Philippines first-ever Entrepreneur Student Challenge

ENTREPRENEUR Philippines is proud to announce that Cultura Verde Footwear, a startup that produces eco-friendly shoes, won the first-ever Entrepreneur Student Challenge.

The competition was aimed at finding the best business plan among college students in Metro Manila. Entries were judged on the following criteria: completeness of proposal, soundness and viability, innovation and use of resources.

Beating 25 other groups, Cultura Verde, which means “green culture” in Spanish, is composed of Mary Felicci Ongchuan, Joey Ermita, Eleonor Japzon, Erika Ty, MJ Arevalo and David Nadela—all students at Ateneo de Manila University.
